Vacancy available: overlocker operator (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Carroll County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $7,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
