Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Wolverhampton, England. You will work at a residential building site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £16 per hour plus benefits.
