Garment presser — Benton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Benton County, Iowa. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
