Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Colleton County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience.
