Vertical milling machine operator • Schenectady County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Schenectady County, New York. You will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
