What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters.
