Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Geidam, Yobe State. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
