Abattoir worker — Saint Joseph County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. The job is at a wholesale meat market. On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
