On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 4+ years on the tools preferred.
