Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Cook County, Georgia. You will be based in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
