Foundry worker — Hardin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Hardin County, Texas. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
