Industrial sewing operator — Oglethorpe County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
