We are recruiting: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Boone County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely 4+ years on the tools preferred.
