Die-casting operator wanted in Rappahannock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Rappahannock County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring.
