Flatlock machine operator • Delta County, Michigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Delta County, Michigan. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
