Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Champaign County, Ohio. You will work at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
