Dry lining plasterer — Jasper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Jasper County, Indiana. The job is at a new-build housing development. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Your main tasks: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Full-time with occasional weekends.
