We are recruiting: core maker (Akwa Ibom State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Mkpat Enin, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
