Brickwork mason — Madera County

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Madera County, California. You will work on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
