Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile installer in Marion County, Illinois. The role involves spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints. Requirements: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Part-time with flexible hours. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
