Vertical milling machine operator — Lincoln County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lincoln County, Montana. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
