Waiter — Dickinson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a waiter in Dickinson County, Iowa. The job is at a banquet hall. Day to day you will lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; check back during the meal and handle special requests; raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
