Site safety steward wanted in Mitchell County

Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in Mitchell County, North Carolina. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day to day you will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Share your details and we will call you back.
