Cnc lathe operator — Lancaster County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Lancaster County, Virginia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 3+ years on the tools preferred.
