Now hiring: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Stephenson County, Illinois. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
