Metal caster — Oshodi/Isolo

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Oshodi/Isolo, Lagos State. The job is at a busy iron foundry. The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
