Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Leon County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 5+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
