Plastering hand — Socorro County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plastering hand in Socorro County, New Mexico. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Your main tasks: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
