Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Spokane County, Washington. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
