Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
