Window glazier — Lancaster County

Now hiring: we are hiring a window glazier in Lancaster County, Nebraska. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash Requirements: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
