Earthmoving plant operator — Buchanan County

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Buchanan County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
