Vacancy available: HGV driver (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HGV driver in Rensselaer County, New York. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars You should have: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
