Restoration bricklayer • McMinn County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in McMinn County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
