Concrete finisher — Boyd County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Boyd County, Nebraska. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
