Conventional mill operator — Elkhart County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Elkhart County, Indiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Six days a week, one day off.
