Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Union County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Day to day you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed.
