Press shop operator • Hamilton County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Hamilton County, Iowa. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day to day you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; record output and downtime on the production sheet; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
