Turning centre operator — Del Norte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Del Norte County, California. Your main tasks: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
