Meat cutter — Lunenburg County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Lunenburg County, Virginia. You will work at a halal meat counter. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
