Urgent requirement: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based on a quarry floor. Your main tasks: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil You should have: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
