Ideal candidate: • Accurate, careful stock handling • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis Day to day you will shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book.
