Requirements: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • A good head for heights and steady balance Day to day you will nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; insulate and ventilate the roof void; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets.
