Now hiring: uPVC welding machine operator (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Johnson County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Day to day you will drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
