Moulder — White County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a moulder in White County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
