Vacancy available: framing carpenter (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Oswego County, New York. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent 2+ years on the tools preferred.
