Heavy equipment operator — Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Douglas County, South Dakota. You will work at a landfill site. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
