Site dozer operator — Calhoun County

You will push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence 3+ years on the tools preferred.
