Foundry worker — Lawrence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Lawrence County, Illinois. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
