Lathe programmer-operator — Shelby County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Shelby County, Texas. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
